Vice President, FP & A Lead Analyst

The Global Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Technology (EIO&T) FP&A team is the analytical function and supports the O&T CFO and O&T Senior Leadership team.  The team is responsible for Enterprise Infrastructure O&T Financial Planning and Analysis activities which encompasses strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.  The group is also responsible for the consolidation of Global O&T financials which includes businesses groups such as Consumer (GCB) O&T and Institutional Client Group (ICG) O&T.  The group works closely with Corporate FP&A, Controllers, Treasury and Citi FP&A business leads.   

Responsibilities: Provide financial, analytical and strategic support to the EIO&T Finance team

  • Responsible for the detailed analytical review of EIO&T financials, and for coordinating and providing meaningful variance reporting and supporting analyses to senior management.
  • Participate in the implementation of process and procedures for financial analyses and development of management reporting issued to senior management
  • Prepare monthly financial statements/documents/presentations, conduct variance analysis and provide insight for reviews with senior management
  • Lead initiative to track performance against investments, productivity, divestitures and transfers/new work
  • Partner with Controllers team to analyze cost allocations process, including reviews with recipients
  • Oversee/Support all aspects of Balance Sheet and Revenue forecasting in RUBY for the Outlook / MYF / Plan / CCAR
  • Support all senior management presentations including CFO / CEO reviews and Corp reviews
  • Individual will work closely with EIO&T FP&A Finance teams, Controllers and Treasury; he/she will also be liaison with Corporate FP&A
  • Will be a key member of the EIO&T FP&A team to pull together the business narrative to reporting and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to details
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn a complex business.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities while executing on numerous deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint ESSBASE, P2P knowledge and proficiency in reporting toolsets
  • Ability to work independently with a proven track record of solving problems and delivering solutions.
