VP Network Manager/ PFSS Investor Network Manager: EMEA

Strategic Intent:

The Investor Network Services (INS) team is responsible for servicing select CFS clients on complex custody and market related matters. The objective of the team is to leverage Citi’s Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC) branch network to provide a service and client experience that cannot be matched by global custodians that rely on 3rd party agent networks.

This particular EMEA role will be responsible for servicing a large sovereign wealth client that has been a key client of the CFS organization for the past 7 years. The successful candidate can expect to have frequent direct contact with the client and will be called upon to manage the resolution of various issues that arise across the range of markets in which the client invests. The INS Network Manager will also be called upon from time to time to lend support on key INS relationships in Asia and the Americas.

The INS Network Manager will also work very closely with the DCC EMEA Network Management team and will be involved in various custody related initiatives for DCC and CFS.

This role will be based in either London or Dublin, and will have dual reporting responsibility to the Global INS Head based in New York and the EMEA DC Network Management Head based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the resolution of custody related issues escalated by the client across the markets in which the client invests
  • Work with the DCC Network Management team, Citi’s proprietary branch’s, 3rd party agent banks and Global Custody Product partners to continuously improve custody services for INS clients
  • Monitor market changes globally and identify how changes may potentially impact INS clients, and deliver tailored market information to INS clients for consumption
  • Provide ad-hoc and regular customized reporting to INS clients
  • Provide market risk analysis reporting to INS clients
  • Provide support to INS clients domiciled in Asia and the Americas on an as needed basis
  • Work with EMEA DCC Network Management team on various regional and global projects and initiaitives


Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry
  • Detailed knowledge of securities services, and particularly Global Custody services
  • Strong ability to work with Partners
  • Experience in a Network or Product Management role is preferable
  • Deep understanding of Investor Client needs
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Thought leadership and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
  • Proven track record of success as a team player
