Risk Mgmt Reporting Analyst

The Risk Reporting Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Producing monthly and quarterly reports for senior Risk Managers including the Chief Risk Officer and Board of Directors
    • Supporting the delivery of risk capital and stress testing reporting and enhancements,
    • Conducting analysis to support decision-making for key risk/business initiatives,
    • Ensuring reporting processes are well controlled and documented,
    • Finding creative solutions to management questions based on available (and sometimes limited) information,
    • Interacting with reporting, modeling, and technology teams to execute on a wide range of reports and analysis


    • 2-5 years work experience in finance or a related control discipline (e.g. Risk Management, Financial Control, Audit, Operations, etc.)
    • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to quickly develop advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access are a must
    • Familiarity with other data analysis programs is preferred but not required
    • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis or a track record that demonstrates high aptitude to learn these skills
    • The position requires exceptional work ethics, solid communication skills, and ability to multitask and work against deadlines.
    • Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas


    • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
