The Cash & Trade Proc Mgr. is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to manage a Cash and Trade Operations team, apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to reach solutions and ensure deliverables are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Review service quality, production systems, and client reporting within trade operations.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Product, Operations and Sales around Trade & Working Capital transactions.
  • Track & maintain a processing trend for trade processing functions.
  • Analyze complex and variable issues to resolve issues and ensure team deliverables meet performance and quality expectations.
  • Lead and participate in quality reviews of trade transactions along the value stream to identify process breaks and the reasons and remediate.
  • Perform detailed analysis and enable acceleration of trade transactions.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead the execution of the same.
  • Partner with multiple business units internally to navigate through the lifecycle of a transaction.
  • Identify control deficiencies, resolve issues and escalate control gaps and issues to senior management when appropriate.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a related operations management role or process improvement role
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
