TTS CCA Cash Management Product Development Head
The Product Dev Sr Specialist is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- The Product Development Senior Specialist is responsible for all activities related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends and client needs
- This role manages the end-to-end product development lifecycle and will also scope product releases, agreeing to and tracking business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking
- Creates a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding road-map to delivery
- Follows market, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citi’s products and solutions platforms
- Conceptualizes, plans, prioritizes, coordinates design and delivery of products or features to product release, and serves as product ambassador within user community
- Works in close co-ordination with Technology, Business Managers and senior stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives
- Manages and implements a wide variety of products and solutions to address client needs
- Has responsibility to deliver significant direct business results and authoritative advice regarding product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy
- Partners with senior business leaders and a widely distributed global user community to define and implement solutions
- Creates clear and specific project plans, business and technical requirements documents for product execution
- Interacts directly with business managers, technology, and sales to understand their long term vision, discuss industry trends, and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy
- Focuses on controls and governance, including performing Need-to-Know based security and access reviews, Access Approvals, controls testing and documentation
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The TTS CCA Cash Management Product Development Head is a seasoned professional role, a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise.
This professional will lead the product development efforts in the cluster, including, new or modified products, local projects and initiatives, regulatory changes affecting our products as well as regional and global projects for the Cluster (12 countries), working closely with regional Product management teams, local Cash Management teams, TTS Operations and Risk areas. He/she is responsible for driving the solution from definition to implementation and readiness of new or modified products. This role will also work very closely with Product and Sales teams, but also with Legal, Compliance and Risk Management, to ensure Citi's highest standards and values are applied to this new product offering.
Responsibilities:
- The Product Development Specialist is a developing professional role responsible for activities related to the development of new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, business requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements, innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends, client needs and / or regulatory requirements
- This role executes on the end-to-end product development lifecycle and will also scope product releases, agreeing to and tracking business priorities, incorporating regulatory and compliance requirements and investment tracking
- Identifies, gathers, and organizes client insights, internal innovation ideas, marketplace analyses and trends to drive to new concepts; Follows market, industry and client trends to own field and adapts them for application Citi’s products and solutions platforms
- Creates a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding Product road-map, supporting the strategic plan defined by Latam and CCA product team
- Conceptualizes, plans, prioritizes, coordinates design and delivery of products or features to product release, and serves as product ambassador within user community
- Ensures product delivery is provided in a consistent, professional and high quality level planned and coordinated with CCA Manager
- Works in close co-ordination with Operations, Technology, LATAM Product Managers, support areas: Legal, Compliance, Finance and senior stakeholders to fulfill the delivery objectives
- Manages and implements a wide variety of products and solutions
- Has responsibility to deliver direct business results and advice regarding product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy
- Creates project plans, business and technical requirements documents for product execution
- Drive investment decisions to deliver cash management solutions in the cluster, according LATAM and global strategy, regional goals and local market needs
- Ensure all New or Modified Product and initiatives follow the Product Launch Framework (PLF) and Product Approvals: NAC, SIRR, Local Committees, Regulatory Approvals are met before launching the product, as well as focuses on controls and governance, and policy requirements.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Comply with the highest standards in Risk and Legal/Regulatory Compliance management and governance.
- Interacts with middle and back office (Legal, Compliance, Finance, Treasury and Ops & TI) to ensure timely project execution, as well as efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years' managerial experience
- The candidate will need to have knowledge in all pillars of TTS - Cash Management products
- Be comfortable presenting work to any relevant partners including all levels of management
- Ability to work as a team, communicate well both written and orally, and multi task on multiple projects at a time
- Detail oriented
- Ability to build networks and relationships internally and externally
- Full knowledge of product development methodologies
- Direct experience in end-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development
- Ability to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and to drive to results
- Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
- Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with team members of an organization
- Portfolio and Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
- Excellent interaction, written and verbal communication skills to engage with large global, regional or local organizations as partners
- Strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills, primarily with a non-directly managed team.
- Being able to lead large groups and different stake holders for project execution

Knowledge / Experience:
- Experience with TTS relevant regulations and controls
- Background in product management and new product capability development.
- Knowledge of Citi’s applicable policies and regulations for product development, product launch framework, product approval and vendor on boarding
- Proven track record of successfully managing an leading large and complex projects and delivering results
