The USPB CAO organization is responsible for developing the USPB Consent Order activities and driving those activities to conclusion in partnership with the entire enterprise.

This role will be responsible for driving commitments related to the Data workstream in the Consent Order.  They will work with a team of Global Transformation leaders and US leaders/SMEs to ensure an on-time and consistent execution. 

This work will include identification of interdependencies between Consent Order programs so that execution plans are consistent and executed efficiently. 

The position requires a thorough understanding of US Personal Bank processes, including how data and technology are used to execute those processes to satisfy internal and external customers.   

Responsibilities:

  • Provides project management related to the Data Workstream for the Consent Order
  • Manages, drives, and provides communications on projects supporting the strategy for USPB, within global frameworks; Includes supporting elements of global programs
  • Executes on the direction and strategy of the wider project team
  • Skillfully engages with all levels of leadership within USPB and across broader global programs.
  • Evaluates impacts of all workstream milestones and develops a clear path forward, then executes on that plan.
  • Oversees progress toward completion of activities and ultimately completion of projects supporting CO milestones related to the Data Workstream.
  • Clearly reports program status and associated risks; escalates issues and defines path to green.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with other NAM workstream leads and Transformation project owners.
  • Assists in assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience within financial services and/or including program management of complex cross-functional projects required.
  • Experience with technology solution implementation, data governance, and data management preferred.
  • Innate ability to ask the right questions and ensure the right solutions have been identified.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment across all involved functions. 
  • Strong team player comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, complex arena with ability to operate in “white space” and connect the dots on organization priorities. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated comfort with communicating reality – both positive and negative. 
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate and report on multifaceted information and seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business / finance / engineering (or a related discipline) or requisite experience
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting preferred
