The Global Regulatory Reporting function is part of the Controllers organization within the Finance function, with a mission to provide complete and accurate consolidated financial statements and other related information to regulators and senior management on a timely basis and in the most efficient manner possible. The function is responsible for approximately 80 US Bank Regulatory filings, including FR Y-9C, Call Report, FFIEC 101, FR Y-14 series (actuals).

The Regulatory Compliance Senior Analyst position is an integral part of the Global Regulatory Reporting function with accountability to the Regulatory Compliance Team. The role will be responsible for establishing and driving consistent reporting oversight and governance across the scope of reports owned by Global Regulatory Reporting. The Regulatory Compliance Senior Analyst will be required to develop relationships and collaborate across multiple organizations to plan, monitor and assist in the coordination and tracking of regulatory commitments to ensure deliverables are completed on time, to specification and risks/issues are escalated in time for corrective actions to be taken to meet the initial deadlines wherever possible. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly on a regular basis with Management. The role is focused on driving delivery and as such, will suit a hands-on delivery-focused professional and will require strong project leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Internal Audit reviews, regulatory bank exams, and other regulatory demands including tracking, stakeholder management, triage and escalation.
  • Assist in the delivery of bank-wide transformation commitments, including central program governance over key deliverables.
  • Support resource and financial management of the Global Regulatory Reporting function including tracking resources and budget and preparing business requirements to support budget requests.
  • Assist in the end-to-end review and challenge of deliverables to confirm quality and adequacy against regulatory commitments and expectations
  • Conduct Policy Reviews to assess the impact of changes and ensure compliance across the function
  • Address potential barriers to timely execution before they impact critical path delivery. Ensure proactive management of deliverables such that risks/issues and interdependencies are escalated promptly in order to allow for timely execution and delivery of milestones as scheduled.

Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6+ years of relevant experience, within Regulatory Reporting (i.e., FRB, OCC) or financial services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The candidate must be able to work with teams as well as independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to quickly assess and address stakeholder needs.
  • High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills coupled with strong, broad- based finance and internal control skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate project management skills preferred
  • Individual should be flexible, team-oriented, have good follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and dissect/solve complex problems

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field. Master’s degree a plus.

*Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days in office and the remainder remote (specific details depend on location & business group). This is not a "remote only" role.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$81,600.00 - $122,400.00
